Sitting and Recovering from Fever

Renee had her first fever last Tuesday night. It lasted until the early Thursday morning and reached as high as 39 Celsius. On Wednesday evening, we were just about to give her Tylenol as suggested by the doctor that we went to see on Wednesday when we took her temperature again and noticed that it has dropped a little. So we kept monitoring her and her temperature kept dropping through the night. By Thursday morning it came back to normal, and the relieved parents finally left the house for work.

The whole thing is far from over, though. As predicted by the doctor and her grandparents (both sides), she is now having a cold. It is not bad except the congested nose is now giving her big trouble. She couldn't sleep or eat well so she cries a lot. We tried all of our best to comfort her, including trying to suck the liquid out of her nose (she didn't like that at all).

Nevertheless, we still got some good picture to share, before she got sick that is.

The hat that her mom used to wear, after her great aunt wore it. (We plugged that outlet behind her right after we took the photo)

We took her for the first hiking trip : Mount. Diablo

Picture of her enjoying her first time solid food.

She has learned to sit on her own now. It just happened in two days.
