Brother and sister

I actually uploaded these files a while ago but never got around to publish it. It is partially because of Google turning off FTP service that is going to affect this. Oh well, I can complain and whine about it for years to come but that just won't change the fact that it is a free service.

Renee is a lot better to her brother now. When I say a lot better, I actually meant that she does not kick and scream every times Max comes to her play circle. On a good day like this, she actually plays with him with a smile.

Renee also has learned of all kinds of poses for pictures.

This is Renee's second visit to Disney on Ice. I wonder if Max will like them.

Needless to day, she had a great time at the concert. Her mom bought a $20 toy for her in the heat of the moment.

Cool glasses.

Did I mention that Max can climb up the stairs now? I have no idea why he sometimes insists climbing up. He also likes to just sit back in the middle of the stairs, causing him to drop down if no one were there to catch him.

With the weather getting warmer, Renee is enjoying her favorite out door activities again. Here is her playing with bubbles in the backyard.

We went to the Easter egg hunt arranged by our community.

Max also joined the party and mostly played on the grass.

Here is Renee with the bunny. She has a lot less fear for the people in customs now. It is hard to tell what triggers her sometimes. Her attitude also changes as the time goes. Pushing her definitely not help. Sometimes, I just need to let her be so that she can observe.

Getting Renee to sleep is sometimes a problem because she keeps coming out. Sometimes it can take over half an hour. Even after Renee falls asleep, she might still wake up and crying. So it is the best for me to stay upstairs during the evening. I set up this mini workstation so that I can get some work done at night. It works out very well. Even Renee knows that I work from here at night now. She will open the lid for me, another excuse for her to get out of her bedroom.

We also went to another Easter egg hunt. Here is the picture from last year.

As we were waiting for the hunt to begin, we visited the playground at the central park that has been newly rebuilt. It looks really good!

Max now loves playing with all kinds of stuff that makes noise. There are quite a few objects that used to scare his sister. It is strange how these two react so differently to the same thing.
