Quiet time with Geocaching and After School Activities
September marks a quiet month, especially comparing to the vacation we just took last month. However, we are signing up the kids for more extra activities.
I normally come home too late to pick up Renee and Max. Here is Max with his buddy Mitchel. There is another little girl, Vivian, that Max likes to play with. But sometimes he just plays like a boy and ignore the girls.
As the days get dark early, I need a flashlight for my bike ride home. I took Renee to a sports shop and we discovered another geocache.

Los Cabos before the School
We took a week-long trip to Los Cabos, Mexico before the school starts. This explains the unusual number of pictures posted this time.
Renee volunteered to be in charge of the luggage. This is one of those occasions that I am proud of her taking responsibility and handling it well.
The resort we stayed at, Royal Solaris, has very nice area for kids. We spent sometime here every day. It keeps the kids busy while we can stay cool and relaxed. It took Renee and Max a while to get used to the big slide, as usual. Then they enjoyed it greatly.
We enjoyed good meal everyday and they come with awesome desserts. Here is Max licking the plate clean.
Renee got to hangout with her buddy, Maiya. These two girls hung out everyday and kept each other company.
We took a boat ride to the arch. It was a pretty cool day trip. The snorkeling was not as nice as we had in Hawaii. Renee ventured into the water with me this time, which is a good improvement from Hawaii. She is still getting used to the salt water.
As I mentioned, it took a bit of practice, encouragement and bribe to get Renee going down the big slide. She was pretty proud of herself after each "dare", though.
Max made friends with Yanyan. I have found it interesting to see these two play together so well, while in the same situation with Renee they will start fighting sooner or later. I have been sharing with Renee about my view that everyone needs to be happy for the whole family to be happy. I do hope she gets the point eventually.
We took a trip under the direct sunlight to downtown. We were all very happy to found this place that has wind coming through. We took a rest here and all the kids took a group picture.
Even though it was in the evening, the temperature was still pretty high. Max's hair looked pretty funny at the end of the meal.
We realized that there was one Disney character passing through the pool at a certain time in the afternoon everyday. We were able to catch quite a few of them.
We took the horse ride for almost an hour on the beach. It was really relaxing. This is Renee with her horse, Lemon.
I took Renee and Max to the company "Bike-B-Q". Before we left, we took this funny picture together.
