Yes it is our favorite time of dressing up and seeking candies! I still remember the days that Renee was so shy of knocking on people's door, and didn't even know that candies are sweet.

I have not been able to attend many of Renee's school activities. I do enjoy each visit. Renee looks so small in the group. Yet, she looks very confident.

Max is better at eating now, if you set his mood to it properly, i.e., treating everything like a game.

Playing at the corn box.

Even Max enjoys the pony ride now. I have plan to take them to ride some bigger horses. Just a little bigger...

Max is very good a figuring things out. He watched another kid playing with this from the side for a while. By the time he finally got his turn, he was able to master it quickly. What really made me proud was after minimum nudge, Renee was able to take Max to the parent of the kid who played on it for almost half an hour, and asked if her brother can play as well.

Max has always respected his sister and enjoyed following Renee around. Renee, on the other hand, still wants to boss Max around. Sometimes, she will enforce her authority for no good reason that I can tell. Max has learned to fight back from time to time, which generally does not end well.

One of the many events I missed during my time at school. Max was scared of the mask last year. This year he was wearing it everywhere for the whole day.

Posing for the camera, and showing off the candies. I don't know how they get the idea. But they do look cute

I did get to make Renee a poster for her "Star of the Week". Both daddy and daughter are proud of what we came up with.
