We decided to take a road trip in south Utah. We had such a great time and only wished that we could do it more.

This is the back of the house that we stayed during the time. Everyday we head out for a park somewhere. We will be back before dark most of the time, buy some food from the super market, cook dinner, and decide where to go the next day. It was quite relaxing and busy at the same time.

We set out for the North Rim of Grand Canyon on the first day. To our disappointment, it is not open until May! But fear not, we quickly turned around and head east for the Antelope Canyon. Due to the route we end up with, we were fortunate enough to run into these cool rocks by the road.

This picture does not show the grand beauty of Horseshoe Bend. We also saw a drone flying down.

The next day, we went to Zion park. The scene changes a lot depending on the location. This is my favorite spot: Mid Emerald Pond.

This is a much longer hike where the canyon becomes narrower and narrower, until to a point where you have to wade through the water. We only saw one guy went in. In case you wonder, this is a rock that we thought looked like a nose. I'll let you guess what Max thought he was doing.

We stopped on the way back to play at this cool surface.

We took an easy day the next day and visited the Red Sand Dune park. It is unbelievable that this is in the middle of nowhere.

Renee and Max were both good sports. We climbed up this Sand Dune, watched the breathtaking scene and people driving cars up and down the dune.

Bryce canyon is just amazing. We couldn't stop taking pictures from all angles.

We didn't have enough time to go all the way down. I wish we could stayed for one more trip!

We got on the horse ride! Max is really happy. I think the horse is very happy too since he weighs so little.

Renee also loved her ride.

This is my favorite horse riding picture.

On the way back, we took some pictures at the state line.

Renee and Max have become very good at posing for these pictures.

At Las Vegas, we visited the Blueman show.

Renee and Max kept wondering why this guy never blinks.

On the last day at Las Vegas, we walked around and visited other hotels. It was fun although both kids said that they love South Utah much better.

The last thing that we did for the month was the Cub Scouts meeting. We finally finished our Den Flag by making our own Knight Shields and stick them to the flag.
