Last month of the summer vacation saw more trips to nearby places.

We visited Jelly Beans factory and checked out all kinds of flavors. Unfortunately, the factory was not running but we still get to take a grand tour.

On the same trip, we also visited Castello di Amorosa, a Vineyard in Napa Valley that is also a castle. Besides climbing the castle, the kids also enjoyed the best grape juice ever. We bought two bottles back.

On another weekend, we checked out the Chinese lanterns in Gilroy Garden.

Renee and Max are now old enough such that they can take their own ride!

I can almost picture the future day where Renee gets her drivers' license.

This is an impression Chinese dragon made out of china plates.

Gilroy Garden also has a small petting zoo. The coolest thing is this little room where you can pick up the chickens.

They were both scared at the beginning but quickly got a hang of it.

Max seemed to like feeding the pigs.

On a school night, Max joined the Pokemon event and played many Pokemon related games.

It is a new year! We started Popcorn sales again to raise fund for the pack.

Max joined a Pack bike hike.
We biked for about three miles in and took a quick break.
