The past month has felt to be very busy, especially the weekend when we went to overnight at USS Hornet, came back for Soccer, and had our Den meeting in the same day.

Max has got quite interested in experiments. With my limited knowledge I was able to acquire enough to do a few experiments. It looked quite simple but was a big hit among the kids.

One of the kids kept whining about not having video game to play. So I dragged them out to take a walk with me outside to "jump the fence". Unfortunately, the enthusiasm died down pretty fast. I really need to learn how to work with kids so that they don't run me over.

We are getting Max more involved with Cub Scouts activities. Bobby and Max are putting up Scouting for Food door hangers in our designated area.

We went to the USS Hornet for our overnight. This is such a massive ship!

It is amazing how delicious the food is on the ship.

Here is the team dinner for Max' soccer team with coach Will.

We went door to door asking for food for the needy as part of the Scouting for Food event.

As one of the pack hike, we went to visit a Sand Mine during its open house weekend.

Renee and Max learned how glasses are made as well as the difference between Sand Mine and Coal Mine.

On the day after Thanksgiving, we visited the Castle in Napa again.

On the weekend, I took Renee with me to geocaching. We hit four places and found three of them.

We also visited the Exploratorium and bought another annual membership.

As part of the Thanksgiving tradition, we put up the decorations and got ready for Christmas.

Kids went with me and picked their Christmas tree.

We also had some fun making cool pictures.

Max is really into the picture making.
