As the school ends, we continued our outdoor activities through different opportunities.

Cub Scouts pack had our two-night camp out with the fishing as the main activity. Max learned how to cast the line!

I am not too much into fishing but it was cool watching the three kids sitting there calmly.

In the meanwhile, Renee is spending quality time with mom, visitng our favorite Dim Sum place.

Another major hit for this year's camping is the water bottle rocket.

We signed up Max for a swimming class that has exercise everyday. It really helped Max improve his skill.

I saw this when cleaning up the Pack storage and took it home to try it out.

Renee earned two awards in her Chinsese class.

During the week that I was between jobs, I took over the kitchen. Renee and Max got interested in cooking with me.

In one of the weekend, we hiked over to a park nearby called "Little Yosemite".

We also went to pick cherry. Unfortunately, I had tooth surgery so couldn't each any.

We then went to pick strawberry. This is the first time and I have to say strawberries are so much better than cherry.

We also tried to do some peach picking. It was not nearly as good as the other two.

Lastly, we visited the annual Art and Wind Festival in town. Here is the big ride they took on.

Max got really interested in kite flying. We took some material home, put it together and he learned to do it in the park
